What is whey protein and where does it come from?

Whey protein is derived from milk as a by-product of cheese production. It contains all essential amino acids and is one of the most popular protein sources among athletes.

Is whey protein suitable for vegetarians?

Whey protein is a dairy product and is suitable for lacto-ovo vegetarians, but not for vegans. If you are looking for a plant-based alternative, consider plant protein powders.

How do I prepare whey protein powder?

Mix one serving with water, milk, or a plant-based drink in a shaker or blender. The powder also dissolves well when stirred with a spoon. Adjust the liquid amount for your preferred consistency.

When is the best time to consume whey protein?

Whey protein can be consumed at any time of day. It works well after a workout, as part of a breakfast smoothie, or between meals as an additional protein source.

How should I store whey protein powder?

Keep the powder in a tightly sealed container in a cool, dry place. Avoid humid environments and direct sunlight to maintain product quality throughout its shelf life.

Who is whey protein powder best suited for?

Whey protein powder is a versatile choice for anyone looking to increase their daily protein intake. Protein contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass and to the maintenance of normal bones.
